So excited to take part in a fantastic effort of inspiration and blog writing with NaBloPoMo! What is that crazy name all about?! Simply, write a post for the next 30 days of November! Come on, you can do it! There is a list of Blog Prompts, if you need/want them or you can simply write about your niche! For myself, I am going to blog about my work, both as a performer and as a teacher and I am going to write my daily “November thanks” here as well.
I’d like to share with you, that I have once again become “the student”! I feel so fortunate to have found a coach that is willingly and able to work with me on exactly what I need and want to work on. It is what I aspire to be as a teacher myself. To really LISTEN to the goals of each student. Yes, of course, technique and theory are positively required tools as a singer and pianist. However, as creatives, we want to be able to apply those tools to the music that we love, so there is inner fulfillment as well as learning.
And, so my Day 1 of November thanks? I am SO thankful for all of my students! You each bring something wonderful and unique to the world and I feel honored and blessed that you trust me with your art.
