We all have 24 hours…how are you choosing to use yours? The other day, my brother-in-law graduated from his residency at UCLA. It’s completely official. He’s a doctor! We are all so very proud and thrilled for him and my sis-in-law, who, by the way, is a lawyer! OMG! They are amazing! And, as nice and loving as they are smart. 🙂 Lucky us!
My mother-in-love (she started calling me her daughter-in-love and I’m honored to return the love!) attended Brian’s graduation and she couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everyone was. Especially the girls. One of them had TWO children during her residency! Not to mention, most of them speak several languages, have traveled the world and everyone is going onto great jobs or continued education at the finest schools.
I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them. We all have the same amount of time in the day. We all have 24 hours. What am I doing with my time? NO REALLY. WHAT AM I DOING??? I keep asking myself that. Time is a fleeting thing. The child is 7 years old already! I have been studying with my beloved teacher for a year and a half! What EXACTLY have I accomplished in the last few years here in Las #vegas? Yes, I’ve done a few cool things. I feel good about the parenting I am doing with my son. But! What have I done with my music? How have I become a better human being? How have I improved the world around me?
I have been reading a lot of posts at LifeHack.org. LOVE that site! Go there right now! Use the search judiciously. I have found fantastic posts on the habits of successful people, best way to schedule yourself, parenting, marriage, religion, Â budgeting and so much more! It’s my current go to site on a daily basis.
Let’s get down to brass tacks. It’s high time to get back on track. I have started to reach out to people that I think can help me or that I would love to work with. Yikes, that’s hard to do! So scary and so out of my comfort zone. But, I’ve just got to! Time keeps marching on and moving forward and I have so much more I want to achieve. I know I can do it! I know YOU can do it! Tell me, what you are going to do with YOUR 24 hours?
